Painting for a Purpose

Started in 2015, this project has raised thousands of dollars for various local charities while allowing attendees to get creative, meet new people, grow their skills and have some fun. Since all the profits go right back into the community, it's a win-win for everyone involved.

Distinguished Young Women

As the oldest and largest scholarship program for high school junior females of its type, we have the honor of hosting and overseeing this program in the county. The young ladies that participate compete in categories such as scholastics, talent, interview, fitness and self-expression all to be considered for a scholarship to the college of their choosing.

Wreaths Across America

Each December, volunteers place wreaths on individual veteran's graves in locations throughout the U.S. The Greater Waldorf Jaycees hope to eventually get ALL graves covered at the Cheltenham Veterans Cemetery. This is a large undertaking and will require a lot of fundraising efforts, manpower and dedication by the volunteers committed to this great cause.

Rent a space to sell your goods in a prime location, grab some lunch fresh off the grill or stock up on some great inexpensive merchandise. Whichever you do, we're sure you'll have a great time all while benefiting the community.

Bounce Out the Stigma (BOTS)

New to our roster in 2016, this 1-day basketball camp founded and coached by a former player of the Harlem Wizards is specifically designed for children with special needs. It gives the players the opportunity to not only gain developmental skills, learn the fundamentals of teamwork, and strengthen their skills & knowledge of the game of basketball, but ultimately helps develop the self-confidence they need to believe that only their WILL defines their LIMITS!
