The Greater Waldorf Junior Jaycees is an organization of young citizens from 12-17 years of age who, under the guidance and supervision of the Greater Waldorf Jaycees, develop leadership skills through community service. They participate in projects such as Toys-For-Tots, Destination Imagination, Charles County Teen Court, Hunter Safety classes, and numerous senior citizens programs.
A favorite and frequent project worked by the Waldorf Junior Jaycees is the Charles County Teen Court. This court, established in 2001, is a diversion program run by the CCSO in cooperation with the Maryland Department of Juvenile Justice. Teen Court is a real life justice program run by teens for teens.
